Maliya Rose

I will NEVER, EVER have another birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's

I don't even really feel like I was even there! It cost, like, a million dollars, I didn't get to watch Maliya eat pizza or cake, let alone get any myself... I didn't get to play any games with her... the only time I had with her was when I opened her presents in a mad, mind-numbing frenzy assisted by other children who either insisted that one of the presents surely must belong to them or else had them completely opened and pushed in my face before I had the current present halfway open. Oh, yeah-- someone did come and relieve me from party mistress duties at the END of it to spend the most special moment of the night with my daughter-- when she fell off the slide and was bawling in agony.

In consolation, every time I did get to break away from one of the laps I was running to witness the cuteness firsthand, she was enraptured with a completely higher level of happiness. I would dare say she reached the pinnacle of happiness in her tiny life that night, which, of course, made everything completely worth it. I hope Aunt Kelly finds the rest of the pictures so I can find out what all the fuss was about for myself...

Enough crying and whining about it. No matter what, I am SO glad she had such a wonderful time, and I did see her and her cousins dancing with The Mouse and other kids, and I don't see how there could have been anything cuter than that.

She received so many adorable presents, which we are thankful for, and so many people that love her so much came to show her, which really was awesome. Last but not least, big ups to B (countless hearts) for his endless patience, sweetness, all his help in EVERYTHING, for his love for me and Maliya, for sharing all these moments side by side with me, and undoubtedly for being the Sugar Daddy of the whole event. I can never thank you enough for all you do for us, B!
I'll post pics here & there to prove to any who haven't yet believed that, yes, she truly is the cutest child in history.
