Maliya's school is awesome!

This was like 6 months ago or so. Maliya Rose is great and precious. Here's a recent cute exchange at one of many B doctor's appointments as of late:

Maliya: Ahfahdown
mom: No you won't, your safe!
Maliya: I promise, Mommy.

Something else equally cute is her burgeoning affection for all things Star Wars (wonder where that came from). She really loves the Red and Yellow R2s (I'm pretty sure B would be happy to add a comment for this post stating their true names) who each have downwards of 3 seconds total screen time. Yet she asks to see both of them (many, many times). She does also like Chewie and the "Kalones," Yoda, and, of course, "Darffader." The other night B caught her enacting a light saber battle between Darffader and Yoda's action figures, complete with the very distinctive hum-buzz-swoop noises. To top it all, though, was when she put a blanket around her shoulders as a cape and, completely in tune, sang the Darffader theme song. You know, the Bahbahbah,bahbuhbah,bahbuhbah, &c.
The afforementioned song surely has some sort of queer title, something not so simple as "Darth Vader's Theme Song," which B would also be well-qualified to definitively clarify. Words kick A.
Speaking of which, Maliya's little sentences, along the lines of "mumbmle mummle mumble eat! food mummle in there mumble Maliya's chair?" are really adorable and are really cracking us up.
Side-noted-ely, Maliya has her own room now and has been such a big, good girl going to sleep w/o mom in there. She's the best kid. EVER!
