Yesterday, unbeknownst to me and B, Maliya took off her skirt and then her diaper of her own volition, streaked past the bedroom, opened the bathroom door, and sat on "maliyaspotty." Lo and behold, pee in the potty! Good job Maliya Rose! She's big now...

Two years ago today...

I saw my beautiful Maliya Rose for the first time. This is what she looked like right before I started singing "Happy Birthday" to her this morning. She wasn't really feelin' it, though. Her first words for the day were on the car ride to school: "No.birth.day!"
