Oh, Galactus, we musn't!
But I just can't. keep. pretending! Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, Third Force of the Universe...

You're my favorite!

Maliya's on top of a little hill here on campus, pretending she's a Tubbie. I work back in there. Also, we know now that Aunt Kelly is having a boy, which will be Olive's husband.

I challenge you to reveal a cuter set of nostrils than these...

Well, okay, not a challenge, per say, as I do not want to see any pictures of any other nostrils,

however precious you may have deluded yourself into thinking they are.
So I'll restate: I accuse you of having grossly and exceedingly far less adorable nostrils than Maliya.

Ahneeyah!

Choo-choo trains are wicked sweet!

Little Mommy

Last night, while B watched Maliya in the tub, I put together her shopping cart (everything just kind of pop-locked together-- awesome!). After I got her out and put her in the new Spiderman pajamas she got from Grandpa Ken and Grandma Ava, I led her into the living room to surprise her with her new basket of food and a new baby. It was so precious to watch her push her baby in the cart from the livingroom to the bedroom several times in succession, each time stopping at the couch or bed to unload her items and load them back up again. The funniest part was when she started pretending she was running the little fake food over an invisible checkout scanner. Hilarious! She sees all. She generally had a delirious contentment about her as she played and would say, "sowwy baby" if she accidentally rammed the cart into the door jamb.

Sweet times.

Biore

HaHAAAHHAAhaaahahahaahhaa, boys are funny!
I made Maliya a paper Biore strip, but she did not like it and immediately threw it on the floor, as is her wont.
That thurr is Aunt Nanny, Bibba, Jon, and, of course, B. We had a great time at Nanny's as usual. Aunt Nanny, we dearly love you and you are so special! Thanks for always making us feel loved and at home. It was good to see Jon in the small increments that we did-- we will miss you when you are in Chicaggeee. We love our cousins so much! Jon, Chris, and Holly, you all are so talented at what you do and I am so proud! You guys are really going to do great there and I can't wait to see all of the wonderful proofs of your talents that the future holds. I am so happy that we got to share so many summer months with you guys. Kelly and I really feel like you are our brothers and we dearly love you and the time we spent together is so special to us and always will be. You're all wonderful!

Mommy's in love with that lady!

Maliya is freakin' adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will NEVER, EVER have another birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's

I don't even really feel like I was even there! It cost, like, a million dollars, I didn't get to watch Maliya eat pizza or cake, let alone get any myself... I didn't get to play any games with her... the only time I had with her was when I opened her presents in a mad, mind-numbing frenzy assisted by other children who either insisted that one of the presents surely must belong to them or else had them completely opened and pushed in my face before I had the current present halfway open. Oh, yeah-- someone did come and relieve me from party mistress duties at the END of it to spend the most special moment of the night with my daughter-- when she fell off the slide and was bawling in agony.

In consolation, every time I did get to break away from one of the laps I was running to witness the cuteness firsthand, she was enraptured with a completely higher level of happiness. I would dare say she reached the pinnacle of happiness in her tiny life that night, which, of course, made everything completely worth it. I hope Aunt Kelly finds the rest of the pictures so I can find out what all the fuss was about for myself...

Enough crying and whining about it. No matter what, I am SO glad she had such a wonderful time, and I did see her and her cousins dancing with The Mouse and other kids, and I don't see how there could have been anything cuter than that.

She received so many adorable presents, which we are thankful for, and so many people that love her so much came to show her, which really was awesome. Last but not least, big ups to B (countless hearts) for his endless patience, sweetness, all his help in EVERYTHING, for his love for me and Maliya, for sharing all these moments side by side with me, and undoubtedly for being the Sugar Daddy of the whole event. I can never thank you enough for all you do for us, B!
I'll post pics here & there to prove to any who haven't yet believed that, yes, she truly is the cutest child in history.
